After listening to her story, I though
how nice would it be to have, not just a photo but a painting
or a nice drawing of that toys that the children love so much
and that, even as an adult they keep fond memories of.
So I started to paint and draw what in
french we call "doudous" (or The favourite toy),
starting with my own children's.
They may not keep the toys as they grow
up but the painting can always be part of their life, somewhere
on a wall
The
creative process...
If your little
one accept to be separated from the toy, it is always easier
for me to work from the original! However,
I can also work well from photographs, as long as the lighting
is good and I receive MANY photos. I am also happy to come
and take the pictures myself and then can take a really good
look at the object!
